Jollof Warrior is the final and third act of a story that I begun with my first album 'The Force Aching' and then continued with 'Nothing is Sacred'. It was a journey out a darkness, becoming the entity that would prevail. Somehow there was this knowing that this would be the point at which the smoke would dissipated and it would become clear what the mission is. Even before I made it, I knew that when I made this album it would be a statement of me understanding my identity as an artist, planting my flag in the dirt and carving out my space.

All these different strands of music connected through the node of electronic music but with the undeniable influence of hip-hop. This is cinematic futuristic and yet also of our world.
